Hello! My name is Cassandra, although most people call me KC. After starting off as BT in this field back in 2016, I fell in love with the field of ABA and decided to pursue my BCBA certification at the University of Washington M.Ed ABA Program in 2018. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work with all ages, ranging from 0-24 years of age.
As a daughter of Filipino immigrants, incorporating themes of diversity and cultural humility into my practice as a BCBA has and will always be a priority to me as a clinician. I've had the opportunity to spearhead several company initiatives, such as a company-wide cultural competency training, and the development of a peer mentoring program to support new BTs. I've also had the opportunity to be a guest speaker for the UW ABA M.Ed program for the 2021 and 2022 ethics course.
I am very passionate about staff development and providing mentorship for LaBAs and BCBAs, and BTs! I am also a big believer that every individual is capable of growth, and that every milestone met (whether big or small) is a win!
Most recently as ACD for WBS, I've become QBS trainer certified, and support company policy development as well training content development, hiring efforts, insurance authorization management, and client/parent outreach. I also provide clinical oversight and mentorship to supervisors and BTs, and am responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the company.
Hi everyone, my name is Angelo Ocampo and I am one of the supervisors here at Washington Behavior Specialists. I started my journey in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2017. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to share my journey with a variety of teams, families, and mentors, who all have shaped my role in the field today.
I first received my Bachelor’s of Health Studies at the University of Washington - Bothell in 2018 and received Master's of Applied Behavior Analysis at Capella University in 2021. I was first introduced to ABA as an undergraduate and have been invested into the impact this field can make ever since.
My experiences in ABA has also shaped me personally and assisted me in achieving the skills that I take pride in today. From developing meaningful interventions and providing learners with individualized support, as well as helping families navigate their challenges and successes in a collaborative manner.
A philosophy that I hold is to always maintain a growth mindset. I strongly believe in learning from others and value the relationships I have within my work; these aspects push me in making every effort to accelerate team growth and overcome any challenges. Furthermore, being a first generation Filipino immigrant and a naturalized American citizen has given me the experiences to uphold cultural humility and embrace diversity in my practice.
I also have a diverse list of interests and hobbies from freelance photography to playing a variety of sports such as tennis, swimming and flag football. I love to spend my free time going to the gym and maintaining my physical and mental health.
Hello! My name is Kathy Nguyen and I am a supervisor here at Washington Behavior Specialists. I have always wanted to work with children and always valued the importance of mental health.
I studied at Western Washington University and received my Bachelors degree in Sociology and Psychology in June of 2019. After learning about the prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in undergraduate school and knowing how many people are affected and are underserved, I knew I wanted a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I have been in the field for many years as a behavior technician before graduating from Ball State University with my Masters in ABA in June of 2021. I wanted to become a behavior analyst/supervisor to be able to serve families more closely and deeply. I have loved being a behavior analyst here at WBS ever since!
Coming from an immigrant family and being a first generation Vietnamese-American, I understand how difficult it can be to know about resources and receive services if not educated about it. This is why I am so passionate about diversity and providing the same amount of support for everyone that needs it. My hope is that all clients and families benefit from the greatest quality of services at WBS, and I would love to have contributed to that in anyway!
Hello! My name is Mark Flores and I am a clinical supervisor here at Washington Behavior Specialists.
I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Washington-Seattle in 2014. During my last year of college, I spent some time volunteering at a youth residential program where I had the opportunity to support children with various mental health needs. It was then that I had learned about Applied Behavior Analysis and was fascinated by how it can be used to help others. Following graduation, I had set out to start my career in ABA as a Behavior Technician! I grew a passion for ABA and found it SO rewarding to see the progress of the individuals I worked with. So I pursued my master’s degree in the Special Education-ABA program at the University of Washington-Seattle and became certified as a BCBA in 2018. I love that I get to work with families of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds and be a part of their ABA journey!
In my free time, I enjoy spending it with family and friends, my dog Cosmo, playing soccer, exercising, traveling, and trying new restaurants!
I am a strong believer in embracing our own uniqueness and strive to immerse myself in opportunities that allow myself to see beyond the spectrum!
Since receiving my certification as a Behavior Analyst in 2022, my role in ABA has been heavily motivated by promoting autonomy and celebrating neurodiversty. I value a client-centered approach, in which everyone deserves an equal opportunity to access the tools necessary to build upon their own strengths. As a supervisor at WBS, my core aims are to facilitate diverse and culturally competent teams that reflect the diverse population of those with ASD and their individualities.
I first set forth in ABA back in 2019 as a behavior therapist, immediately inspired by the opportunity I had to work with families of different backgrounds and firsthand witnessed the positive impact that a supportive environment could have on one’s development. Prior to this, my time as an undergraduate at the University of Washington-Bothell was dedicated to the advocacy of suicide prevention and mental health support on university campuses throughout the greater Seattle area.
Together, these attributes have guided my vision to support specialists in providing reformed practices of ABA and bringing meaningful change to peoples’ lives through a trauma-informed lens.
I currently balance my free time by exploring restaurants all over Washington state — and across the country (if opportunity allows). As a first-gen Asian-American, and as someone who is fascinated by flavors, I especially love trying new boba shops and experiencing how Vietnamese cuisine is prepared across the world!

My educational background is in law, I have an Associates Degree with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Bellevue College. I've been in the law and medical field for over 10 years now. Every workplace has given me a level of contentment and pride but for the first time I truly feel I found my place in the field of ABA. To be of service to families in need and to be there for the kids brings me the most happiness and joy and above all fulfillment. I see the progress every day, we really are making a difference here at WBS.
After years in hospitality management, I was looking for a change. I wanted to join a field that would allow me to make an impact. I have found this in ABA. Our clients amaze me daily as they develop new skills and make new friends. What I love most about ABA is the consistent positive reinforcement. Everyone at WBS models the philosophy that “there is always something to praise”. This translates into a positive work environment for our team and our clients. There is nothing quite like the smiles and laughter throughout the WBS clinic. I am so grateful that I spend my days with our kids reading Dr. Seuss and building marble mazes.

I attended Newport High School in the city of Bellevue/Factoria, Go Knights! As of right now I am working at WBS and I don't plan on going anywhere for a long time, GO WBS! Possibly down the road I may aim towards pursuing college but for right now my focus is on expanding my knowledge and experience in ABA. In all honesty I wasn't initially looking at ABA work even with my strong passion for autism awareness just like my aunt who is a para educator for Renton School District. She kept telling me I should get into the field because I'd be great. In my family I have cousins who are on the spectrum, one in particular whom I am very close with and think of as a brother. Additionally family/kids have always been such a big part of my life, that's what happens when you've got a big family, seriously there's at least a hundred or so just on one side of my family. Family is and always will be my biggest factor in my life, which is why WBS is such a special place, at WBS it's not just a job with coworkers and supervisors, it's a home with family.

I have had the lucky opportunity to have worked with atypical and typical children for 5 years ranging from the role as an after school and summer camp counselor to Montessori preschool teacher, as well as a private child care provider. Working within this field has been such a a rewarding experience as I have been able to be apart of the journey entailing growth and progression specific to each child. Being able to see a positive impact and it’s long term affects is one of the many things that I love about ABA.

Hello, my name is Jasmine Lasick, I’m a BT here at WBS! I started working in ABA back in 2019 and since then I’ve gain the experience of working with individuals from the ages of 3-16 in clinic, home, and school settings!
I fell in love with my job immediately when I first started. I still remember the first child I had the opportunity to work with. This child was nonverbal and had no experience with picture exchange communication system (PECS), American Sign Language, or used an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) device and I’ve never worked with a child who was nonverbal before. I knew then that this child truly was going teach me so much with different ways of how to communicate and to understand different learning styles. I’m a firm believer in trial and error, try something, doesn’t work out, then let’s collaborate and do a new approach, we try, and try, again and again until it clicks. I truly hold myself to a high standard when it comes to my work ethics. Each child and each family I get to work with deserves a BT that understands that for progress to happen then that means you have to take the time and dedication to understand their child’s learning style first, what may work for one child may not work for another. Each child deserves to feel understood and every family I work with deserves that dedication!

Helping people with my own hands was something I've always wanted to be able to do. I decided to join WBS in order to reach my goals. My name is Ryan, born and raised in Seattle, I am Chinese American. I went to school at the University Of Washington, majoring in American Ethnic Studies. Hearing about the impact my peers were making in ABA inspired me to jump into a completely new field. This field is rewarding seeing how much impact we can make in a child's life.
